Trnava University in Trnava is a modern, attractive educational and scientific institution that is one of the ten best universities in Slovakia. The main requirement for admission to the 1st degree (bachelor's degree) is a complete general secondary education or a full secondary vocational education.

Entrance exams

**Additional conditions:**
• For the specialization "Psychology", a written entrance examination is held, which verifies general learning skills: logical and critical thinking, quick orientation in new situations, information analysis, attention, intelligence, the ability to draw conclusions and express ideas clearly.
• Admission to other fields is based on the results of secondary education.

Admission without entrance exams is subject to an average score of 1.00 according to the Slovak equivalent (grades must be at least 10 in the last 4 years of study).

For the field of "Psychology", the entrance examination is held in the form of a written test.

Irudicia UT

The Faculty of Law of the University of Trnava is a center of legal education and scientific research. The faculty is focused on the study of Slovak public and private law, international law and European law. Students complete internships at ministries of foreign affairs, national courts, rights organizations, local government bodies, etc. The Faculty of Law offers its students the opportunity to study at foreign partner universities within the ERASMUS+ program (in: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Turkey...)

• Applicants must pass an entrance exam in the form of an online test in the following subjects: history, fundamentals of law, fundamentals of sociology, psychology, philosophy and economics; At the same time, the exam verifies the candidate's socio-political, legal and cultural knowledge, as well as logical thinking.
• Foreign applicants must prove their level of knowledge of the Slovak language by taking a Slovak language test prepared by the faculty.

The unique programs of the Faculty of Theology are focused on the practical application of skills in a future vocation. The curriculum of the faculty is focused on philosophical and theological areas. The faculty prepares students both theoretically and practically in the areas of social welfare, pastoral counseling and professional leadership. Upon graduation, the graduate will be competent in current issues of ethics, politics, culture and religion.

Other conditions:
• Grades in certain specialized subjects will be taken into account when entering each specialization.
• The condition for admission to study for foreign applicants is also the provision of a certificate of successful completion of international tests in the Slovak language at least at the B1 level.
• For the field of study "Pre-school and Primary Pedagogy", the entrance examination will take place in the form of a test of general competence to study at the university.
• In English-related specializations, certificates of completion of the state language exam or certificates of successful completion of international tests (e.g. PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, TOEIC, etc.) at least at B1
level can be equivalent to confirming results in a profile subject (including the final exam).• Applicants for the field of Slovak Language in Communication with the Deaf will be admitted on the basis of the results of a creative exam and a motivational interview. The creative exam involves testing minimum abilities (adequate visual perception, good spatial imagination, fine motor skills, good visual memory).
