The youngest faculty is the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava. Teaching takes place in Slovak and English. Students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience, learn to use it in their professional and personal lives. As part of its scientific activities, the faculty implements large European projects and grants in cooperation with private companies.

Admissions campaign

The main condition for admission to the 1st level of study (Bachelor’s degree) is completed complete general secondary education or complete secondary vocational education.

Other conditions:

Applicants for the Applied Economics, Media Studies and Social Anthropology programmes must demonstrate knowledge of the English language:
— SCIO test results (valid from 01.09.2025) in the form of a certificate – B1 level with a minimum percentile of 30, or
— a language certificate of at least B1 level from the list of authorized institutions or
— a secondary school certificate if the applicant graduated from secondary school with English as the language of instruction.

Applicants to the Social and Industrial Psychology program must:
– successfully pass the SCIO test on general prerequisites for learning;
— confirm knowledge of English by the SCIO test at B1 level.
The faculty accepts the first six test dates.

In the programmes European Studies and Social and Occupational Psychology (taught in English, paid), applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level.

Application deadlines

Bachelor’s degree – applications are accepted until 31.3.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), price – 40 euros.

Master’s degree – applications are accepted until 31.3.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), costs – 40 euros.

Doctoral studies – applications are accepted until 30.4.2026 (1st round), until 15.8.2026 (2nd round), price – 40 euros.
